First Ever Eastern Catholic Vocations Fair
The Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia, in conjunction with the help and support of the Region 15 Eastern Catholic Bishops of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), hosted the very first Eastern Catholic Vocations Fair of 2012 at the Ukrainian Catholic National Shrine of the Holy Family on Sunday, January 22nd, 2012, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Approximately 200 people came to visit the fair, some were from the local area; others were pilgrims traveling to Washington, DC, for the National Right to Life activities taking place that weekend. All came to see the various exhibits at the fair and learn more about the various Eastern Catholic Churches that are here in the United States. Despite the bad weather, 17 exhibitors came from all over the country – some from as far away as Olympia, WA. These exhibitors represented a broad and diverse picture of the Eastern Catholic Churches in the United States.
