Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Philadelphia had a Weekend Fair to Support Armed Forces of Ukraine

On June 3, 4, 10 and 11, a fair was held at the Ukrainian Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. During the fair, active volunteer Andriy Zhivachivskyi, with the blessing and support of Father Roman Pitula, sold items to help the battalions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The volunteer sold towels, tablecloths, icons, books and other things; a total of $1,400 was raised for the 204th Battalion, 241st Brigade and students and graduates of the Faculty of History of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Also Fr. Roman Pitula donated $2,500 for the purchase of 3 walkie-talkies for the 201st battalion of the 102nd brigade.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Andriy Zhivachivskyi has been conducting active collections for various brigades where his friends are fighting, he is an active member of the Ukrainian community in Philadelphia and its surroundings, he maintains a blog where you can learn more about the volunteer's active collections.
